Yesterday it was reported that Mayor Villaraigosa scolded members of his staff for turning a blind eye to water waste:

LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has pulled out his new drought busters program, and busted his own city staff. The mayor called in his department heads, and a spokesman says it’s fair to say he was upset.

Emphasis mine. So lame when reporters buy in to the drama.
